 As a Site Management Organisation (SMO), ABX-CRO offers professional patient care services for special study populations. SMO services are performed at our offices in Dresden Germany, which represents a catchment area of 600.000 – 800.000 resident population. Patient recruitment using a long-standing referral network of GP specialists and hospital departments, as well as public advertisements in local print media, have been shown to maximize patient recruitment even in demanding psychiatric and oncological indications. Close cooperation with patients´ regular medical carer and a wealth of time with each patient ensure patient adherence and compliance to even complicated study requirements. A fully GCP qualified research staff, comprehensive SOPs and experience with all current EDC systems, have increased the number of studies and customers steadily over recent years. |
